Exercise 1 | 2-Beat & 1-2-Whoosh Moves

Both 2-beat 1-2-Whoosh are staple go-to timings.  Now let’s transition and play between them.

To start, internalize the rhythm of the music.  Take your time to feel it.  Now, begin with 2-beat moves.  Play with your movement and bust out all the moves.  When ready, convert into 1-2-Whoosh timing.  Change from one timing to another whenever and however you feel.

It is important to enunciate every timing change; even better, enunciate every move to express and communicate it clearly.  Feel your entire body moving to the timing.

Practice expressing all the possible moves you can feel and different ways of changing timings.
