Lesson 37 | Tilt Dip (1-2-Whoosh)
Can you Tilt Dip within your 1-2-Whoosh timing? Yes, yes you can.
There are two ways to Tilt Dip with 1-2-Whoosh. The first way is to roll into the dip during the 1-2-whoosh, then taking four full beats to tilt down and up. Prepare yourselves to slow down during the roll in and ease into the 4 beat dip, and then move back into the timing afterward with the rollout. Tilt Dip is another “breath” from the 1-2-Whoosh timing.
The second way is to Tilt Dip on the whoosh, keeping the 1-2-Whoosh timing the whole way. This gives you two beats to tilt down and up. This is fast. Roll in on the 1-2 and execute the quick dip on the whoosh. Executed correctly feels thrilling.
A strong connection with the floor and visual connection with your partner is imperative for these dips, especially for the quick version. See each other to depower into the floor to lower into the dip and repower from the floor to rise out of it.
