Boogie & Breathe | Exercise 1

Slow down your movement, disconnect from time, and feel the moment as deeply as you can.

To accomplish this, first become comfortable moving as slowly as you’d like, not pausing your movement nor killing your inertia.

Second, boogie to every beat and intermittently let your movement breathe, taking as much time as you feel.  Play with this timing change.

Breathing and slowing time is a powerful skill to volumize your dancing.  This skill takes practice and the building of muscle memory.
