Exercise 1 | Dips (1-2-Whoosh)

Let’s have some fun…and dip within our 1-2-Whoosh timing.  

Within the 1-2-Whoosh we have two dip options.  The first dip option is after the whoosh, dipping during the next four beats.  To execute this slow dip, prepare your follow on the previous whoosh and slowly flow into the 4 beat dip, and afterward power back from the dip into the 1-2-Whoosh timing.  This slow dip is a nice “breath” from the timing.

The second dip option is dipping on the 2 beat whoosh.  This gives you two beats to dip down and up…fast.  To execute, prepare your partner on the 1-2 and flow into the dip on the whoosh.  You’ll feel a thrill with this one.

With these dips, a strong floor connection is imperative, especially for the quick version. Depower into the floor to lower into the dip and repower from the floor to rise out of it.
