Exercise 5 | Partner Connection

Build a connection with your partner, a feel for your partner, permitting you to move and dance with your partner.

Developing this connection is a layered process. First, start with your eyes, learning to move, independently, with your partner. Second, use Tree Hugger hold, a strong concrete connection to feel your partnership move. Third, interlock your fingers to move more fluidly in partnership. Lastly, change connection points as you move, learning to move and dance with your partner regardless of your connection.

This process develops an expanded awareness of how to move and dance freely in partnership.
