Side to Side | Exercise 1

Side movement is the first of our three horizontal directions. Start each dance with a side move, putting your partnership on the same leg.

First, articulate your side movement, developing the control and creativity to move side to side, how and when you feel. Second, practice communicating your side movement. Third, practice moving freely and dancing within the side to side structure.

Allow yourself to explore feel-good movement, and let your inner child dance.
