Three Horizontal Directions | Exercise 3
Forward, side, and backward are the three horizontal directions that feel best for ourselves and our partnership. Train to master these 3 directions and leave out the diagonal junk.
First, identify your free leg, your kickstand leg, and with that leg you can move either forwards, side, or backwards. These are your three options of movement for every move. Articulate these movements independently, in partnership, and then play within the structure.
