Lesson 6 | Boogie & Forward/Backward Moves

Boogie and Forwards or Backwards moves are the first two of 17 root moves.

Use Boogie to groove and Forwards or Backwards to travel.

Boogie is moving and dancing in place. Compare it to idling your car engine, your vehicle is running, but not traveling through space. Boogie is good to establish connections with your players and feel it all out.

Forward or Backward Moves are traveling your vehicle forwards or backwards.  Compare it to how your car moves, the wheels go straight forwards or straight backwards, however you can turn the wheels to bend your movement.  Use Boogie as a transition between moving forwards to backwards.
